UNFOLDED THOUGHTS…

Many religions have female deities or goddesses, including the ancient Romans and Greeks, traditional African religions, and Hinduism. Some well-known goddesses include Juno, Gaia, Lakshmi and Durga, etc. If you know a woman who seems as beautiful, and powerful, or as amazing as a god, you can also address her as a goddess. Besides, we have learnt that ever since the prehistoric times, art has always been a part of human life. Starting from the details of the impact of women inscribed in the age old manuscripts till today where women are constantly in a battle for equality, it intrigues me how we not only draw courage and grace from women but also learn how it is these women who form the key of life no matter how far we have come in time. Hence I always consider women as a shakti or as divine your problems and happiness in equal way. Women are not just a beautiful bird that is to be caged, she is a real hardworker and makes our family, well balanced through her love and delicate work as a home- maker.

In the process of my works, several times I symbolised women as Laxmi, which further fascinated me towards Samudra Manthan, which is one of the most significant episode in the birth of the divine Goddesses, angels and also many precious valuables. It inspired me to paint it through my way, hence the title being UNFOLDED THOUGHTS…
